Philodendron Little Hope Plants have the same leaf shape as its big sister Philodendron Hope just in a smaller size. The miniature Philodendron’s emerald green, glossy leaves give the plant a more elegant look and attract the eye.
The Little Hope is a fairly easy-to-care-for houseplant that is perfect for small spaces needing a little greenery. Unlike the holey and sharp fenestrations that are distinct in the Split Leaf Philodendron, the Little Hope has deeply serrated leaves that are more frilly and irregular.
Like most all Philodendron plants, proper care for the Little Hope Philodendron includes a bright indirect light and a well-draining soil medium. These plants are pretty low maintenance though and will tolerate medium to lower light conditions as well.
Watering for this dwarf tropical plant should be conducted only when the top soil has dried fully. A pot with a drainage hole is also important to protect the plant’s roots from the damage of root rot.
These vigorous upright growers look great wherever they are placed and bring a whole new tropical vibe to a space. They are the perfect plant for someone who wants some greenery, but doesn’t want the plant to overwhelm and outgrow a space.
