Garden Goods Direct Pieris Flaming Silver Shrubs

An elegant and hardy evergreen shrub, Pieris Flaming Silver offers something for every season. The flame-red new leaves subside to pink in late spring and finally to dark green in summer, developing a white margin as they mature.

Also contributing to this cultivar’s year-round display are its drooping chains of greenish-white flower buds in winter and its pure white urn-shaped flowers in spring. The fragrant flowers open from early to mid-spring, late in the Japanese pieris flowering season. About half the height of full-sized Japanese pieris cultivars, Pieris Flaming Silver grows slowly into a dense rounded shrub.
